INDUCON compressed foam is a cellular polyurethane elastomer and based on thermally condensed ester or ether soft foam. INDUCON is available in a mixed cell pore structure or as a 100% open-celled filter foam.

The physical properties density, thickness, compression load deflection and Shore hardness, splitting tensile strength, elasticity, air-permeability etc. can be variously adjusted in wide ranges and narrow tolerances.

Ester-based INDUCON is characterised by good insulating properties and good resistance to solvents. For special requirements, ether-based INDUCON is used with high elasticity, improved hydrolysis-resistance, good resistance against acids and alkalis as well as very good stamping properties.

For use in car interiors, special very low-emission types are used. The flammability of INDUCON is improved by flame-retardant qualities and almost all products comply with the automotive standard MVSS 302.

A self-adhesive version of INDUCON is available as an optional extra. Other finishing processes such as saturation / dyeing, embossing or coating are covered by the INDUSKIN product line.
