INDUPHON® acoustic foam
INDUPHON acoustic foam is a sound insulation material made of modified PUR foam. The acoustic effect is based on conversion of energy as a result of air friction in the foam structure. By selecting special foam and surface qualities, the absorption behaviour is adapted to the relevant frequency range. For use in damp-warm environments, INDUPHON is also available as a PUR-ether foam.
INDUPHON acoustic foam is available with the following surfaces:
air-permeable compressed / embossed surfaces combine good sound absorption in a wide frequency range, dirt-resistant surfaces and an attractive design.
Surface coatings control the acoustic effect in a wide frequency range, protect against external influences (water, oil and light) and meet colour requirements.
Surface laminations with PUR films or aluminium foils, non-woven fabrics, synthetic leather or flame-retardant textiles enable a wide range of applications for INDUPHON acoustic foam.
All INDUPHON products are also available in self-adhesive and flame-resistant versions as optional extras (MVSS 302, ISO 3795).
INDUPHON is available on rolls, as a stamping part, cut to size or as an off-tool embossed part (2D).
