We mould textiles for technical applications. The main focus is on shaping and contours, reinforcing and supporting as well as appearance and design.
The main advantage of 3D-moulded textiles lies in optimised further processing properties and the associated cost reduction.
In the hot-moulding process, elastic knitted or non-woven fabrics are impregnated with a stabilising resin and then moulded three-dimensionally in a heated tool.
Knitted or non-woven fabrics with thermoplastic fibres (e.g. polypropylene polyester-bi-component fibres) are pre-heated and moulded three-dimensionally in the cold tool.
Individually configurable tools enable a wide range of designs.
Standard products are 3D-TEX PES Standard and 3 D-TEX PP/KHF.
